Oratorio Masterclass Johannes Kammler

This masterclass offers young singers/soloists the opportunity to work intensively with conductor Philippe Herreweghe as well as the international renowned solo singer and vocal coach Johannes Kammler on the performance and interpretation of solo arias from the 19th century oratorio repertoire.

Auditions 2026!
Collegium Vocale Gent is organising auditions for excellent choral singers and young soloists born after 1992, with an interest in all voice types, with a high grade of musicality, flexibility and experience in ensemble singing. Our main focus is the romantic repertoire, but singers interested in our polyphony, baroque and contemporary projects are also welcome.

Bach Masterclass 2026
10-13 January 2026 – Brugge (BE)
In collaboration with Concertgebouw Brugge, Collegium Vocale Gent is organizing a Bach masterclass for young vocal soloists as part of the Bach Academy Bruges 2026. Conductor Philippe Herreweghe and bass Peter Kooij will coach young talent for four days, guiding them through the world of Bach’s cantatas.
