Fearlessly through life
An endless quest: how does one survive life? Three cantatas – built around Saint Paul’s enduring trio of faith, hope and love – try to formulate an answer. As complement to Bach’s comforting music, there is also a cantata by Graupner, whose immense oeuvre is more than worth exploring.
