Bach Masterclass 2027

In collaboration with Concertgebouw Brugge, Collegium Vocale Gent is organising a Bach masterclass for young vocal soloists as part of Bach Academy Bruges 2027.

Over four days, conductor Philippe Herreweghe and bass Peter Kooij will guide and coach emerging singers as they explore the world of Bach’s cantatas.

The masterclass offers eight young vocal soloists the opportunity to work intensively on the performance and interpretation of solo arias and recitatives from a range of Johann Sebastian Bach’s vocal works.
