Collegium Vocale Gent<\/strong> is organising auditions<\/strong> for excellent choral singers<\/strong> and young soloists<\/strong> born after 1992, with an interest in all voice types, with a high grade of musicality, flexibility and experience in ensemble singing. Our main focus is the romantic repertoire, but singers interested in our polyphony, baroque and contemporary projects are also welcome.<\/p>\n

Brugge<\/strong> (BE)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a006-08 January 2026<\/strong> [Concertgebouw (tbc), 8000 Brugge] – fully booked!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

They will be judged by Dominique Verkinderen and Matthias Lutze\u00a0.<\/p>\n

APPLICATIONS FOR AUDITIONS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If not done already, the applicants are requested to send the following information and material to dominique@collegiumvocale.com<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. Curriculum Vitae<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. A personal information form<\/strong>, including your name, voice-type, address, telephone\/mobile number, e-mail, date & place of birth & nationality<\/li>\n
  3. A picture<\/strong> of yourself<\/li>\n
  4. Details of the complete programme<\/strong> that you intend to sing<\/li>\n
  5. A recent recording<\/strong> with an aria or Lied as mp3 file (max. 5MB) or a link to your YouTube page<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    AUDITION REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    You will be required to prepare:
    \n1. An aria of your choice by\u00a0J.S.Bach or G.F.Handel (at your chosen pitch of A=440 or 415 Hz)
    \n2. A Lied of your choice from the romantic German repertoire (countertenors can sing a song by Dowland or Purcell for example).
    \n3. For choir and ensemble singers – the motet ‘Singet dem Herrn’ BWV 225 by J.S.Bach\u00a0(only the final part, from bar 256).
    \n4. Soloists are requiered to sing an additional aria from the romantic repertoire.
    \nPlease note: Piano A = 440 or A = 415 for baroque repertoire<\/em><\/p>\n

    Readable and well organised scores must be sent by normal, unregistered mail<\/strong> to the accompanist at least 6\u00a0weeks before the auditions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
